At Kings Pointe Chiropractic & Wellness, we provide evidence-based chiropractic care with a holistic approach. Led by Dr. Stuart Yoder, DC, our goal is to restore balance within your body’s nervous system so you can move better, feel better, and live better.
Whether you’re dealing with chronic back pain, neck tension, headaches, or just want to improve your overall health, we offer personalized treatment plans designed for your unique needs.
Chiropractic‘s main premise is to assess the nervous system. The nervous system located in the brain and spinal column. The brain operates as the main computer and communicates with the rest of your body through the spinal cord within the spinal column. The spinal column is made up of individual bones called vertebrae. Nerves exit the spinal column at all segments of the vertebrae. When there is physical disruption at any level such as a fixation, tension, or injury, the nerves will not communicate with the brain properly.
Chiropractors facilitate healing through gentle assessment and specific correction of the spinal column with what we call, adjustments. Most times this adjustment occurs through the hands of the chiropractor but sometimes an instrument called an Activator is necessary to apply for correction for an even gentler approach.
Through precise, gentle chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Yoder restores proper alignment and nerve communication, allowing your body to heal naturally.

Applied kinesiology is a chiropractic method discovered in 1964 by Dr. George J. Goodheart Jr. D.C. This method uses your muscles to muscle test for the chiropractor to gain better understanding about your nervous system. This goes beyond the chiropractic adjustment into other natural healing approaches such as: acupuncture meridians, lymphatic reflexes, neurovasuclar reflexes, muscle work, organ reflexes, and nutrition. It allows for a more comprehensive approach to analyzing and treatment beyond the musculoskeletal problems.
Applied Kinesiology may incorporate:
This comprehensive approach helps improve energy flow, muscle strength, and overall vitality.
One tool commonly used in office is the Arthrostim. This tool is used effectively to treat patient’s gently and in areas that may be more sensitive. Many patients prefer and even require a less aggressive approach to chiropractic adjustments. The Arthrostim delivers a comfortable and repeatable toggle adjustment. Operating at 12-14 beats per second, this rhythm facilitates change in the betasomatomotor rhythm of the patient’s nervous system.
We have all heard and seen of many different stories and videos of patient’s being “cracked”. The Arthrostim allows Dr. Yoder to adjust in a safe and comfortable manor tailored to patient preferences while still delivering adjustments to the body and avoids all connotation of your chiropractic visit involving “cracking” or “popping”.
Operating at 12–14 beats per second, the Arthrostim works with your body’s natural rhythms to promote healing, reduce muscle tension, and restore proper joint motion. Benefits of Arthrostim adjustments:

Acupuncture has been practiced in China for over 2,000 years. Practiced in the United States for over 150 years but made popular after President Nixon’s trip to China in the 1970s. Acupuncture goes beyond a traditional healing method—it’s a well-rounded, holistic way to restore balance and support stability in your life.
Your body is made up of energy called Qi. The Qi runs in channels we call meridians (like highways) all over the body. When there is an imbalance (area is too weak or stuck) in the Qi, you get sick, feel pain, or start experiencing symptoms. The acupuncture needles get placed in specific spots (acupuncture points) to help move the energy creating more balance to let the body heal itself.
If you’re struggling with chronic pain, stress, or other health concerns, acupuncture offers a safe, medication-free option. Instead of only relieving symptoms, it focuses on correcting underlying imbalances.
By incorporating acupuncture into your care, you’re choosing a proactive approach to your well-being. It can help boost immune function, support quicker recovery, and improve your overall quality of life. Experience the benefits of acupuncture and take a step toward a healthier, more balanced you.
Once you’ve achieved pain relief and improved function, regular chiropractic checkups help maintain that progress. Preventive care keeps your spine aligned, your nervous system balanced, and your body functioning at its best.
